PSYCH-K® (pronounced “sigh-kay”) is a set of principles and processes designed to change subconscious beliefs that limit your full potential. Created by Rob Williams in 1988, PSYCH-K® uses muscle testing and whole-brain integration to rapidly reprogram limiting beliefs at the subconscious level—where nearly all human behavior originates.

PSYCH-K® works by creating a “whole-brain state”—balanced communication between both hemispheres of your brain. When you’re stressed about something, your brain hemispheres aren’t communicating well, which means you’re approaching problems with only half your brain. A PSYCH-K® balance unifies your brain, allowing you to rewrite old programming and install new, empowering beliefs that support your goals instead of defeating them.

Kinesiology (also called specialized kinesiology or systematic kinesiology) is an alternative healing modality that uses muscle testing as a biofeedback system to identify imbalances in your body’s energy systems. By testing specific muscles, a kinesiologist can pinpoint physical, emotional, mental, or energetic imbalances—then use gentle, non-invasive techniques to restore balance and support your body’s natural healing ability.

Kinesiology works by using muscle testing to “communicate” with your body. When I apply gentle pressure to a muscle while asking yes/no questions, the muscle either stays strong or weakens. This response relates to energy flow, not muscle strength. The weakening or strengthening tells us what imbalances exist and what corrections are needed. It’s like having a conversation with your body’s innate wisdom.

During your first session, we’ll discuss your health history and set a goal for what you’d like to achieve. You’ll lie fully clothed on a massage table (shoes off) while I use muscle testing to identify energy imbalances. Based on what your body tells us, I’ll perform gentle corrections—which might include acupressure, energy balancing, nutritional support, or emotional release techniques. Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes.

Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening your core, improving posture, and enhancing flexibility through controlled, mindful movement. Created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, it emphasizes breath, precision, and the mind-body connection. Pilates can be done on a mat or using specialized equipment like the Reformer.

No. Kinesiology is a health and wellness practice focused on how the body moves, functions, and responds to stress. It does not require you to change or compromise your faith in any way. Many clients from diverse religious backgrounds use kinesiology as a supportive tool for physical and emotional wellbeing while maintaining their own faith traditions.

No. Kinesiology is not a religion or spiritual system. It is a practical approach that uses muscle testing and movement-based techniques to identify imbalances and support the body’s natural ability to function.

Not at all. Kinesiology works by observing how your muscles and nervous system respond to different stimuli. You don’t need to adopt any new beliefs for it to benefit you.

Yes. Many clients see kinesiology as complementary to their faith, much like exercise, nutrition, or counseling. It supports your physical and emotional wellbeing, while your spiritual life remains entirely your own.
